With three brilliant stories of Transition groups connecting and support young people to make change: - Cara Hedges of Transition Chipping Norton, who’s youth group revived the whole Transition initiative in the town and campaigned for better park and stake facilities, path improvements and a Town Hall takeover. They have run a host of swaps, events, a growing project, produced zines, spoken at the Cheltenham Literary Festival and run a county-wide survey of youth views on climate which they then presented to the borough council. - And youth organisers Eli Pickering, Cam Elizabeth, and Mike Erskine from Usk - Together for the Climate. The group based plans for a community fun day at the former recycling centre on ideas from the town’s young people, and the event helped them imagine a more permanent youth base in the community.
