What are assemblies, and what role can they play in our decision making? Making decisions through assemblies is a varied and emergent practice, but what is common to all of them is a genuine approach to democracy as re-imagining of how we are together. We’ll hear about some ways of doing Assemblies, play with core practises and look towards what approach the Transition Assembly might take.
This event is part of the [Network Weaving team’s](https://transitiontogether.org.uk/meet-your-network-weavers) **Movement Building event series**, being held in the run-up to the [Transition Assembly on 7-9 February 2025](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdBz4ApFN9o9PVXzlvRYXY2SSAqHEDjwmKxgK9DqWKO-YSbHg/viewform). This event is open to all, but especially relevant to people and groups based in Wales and England - we’d love to hear your thoughts and perspectives on this topic.
