November 15, 2023 (7:30 PM - 9:00 PM Europe/London)
Our latest Transition Together Skillshare - here is the [Zoom link](https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81157663977?pwd=UDVqdXdxWmJiMVRPVFVRSUZMRHpDQT09) to join the meeting at the time.

Spiralling food and energy costs are symptoms of our broken, unresilient systems, and are putting huge pressure on people. How can we as Transition groups address the challenges to meeting basic needs, while also reimagining better systems which work for everyone? Join our Skillshare to hear from groups doing just that in innovative, positive and inspiring ways.
- Steve will share about his work in Bolton, bringing fruit trees, thrifty growing workshops and permaculture to his working class community (as featured in the latest Permaculture Magazine out last week!)
- Sobia and Ruth will tell us how Transition Town Ilford set up an Energy cafe, fortnightly in the public library helping people safe energy and money.
- Jo will tell us about Transition Constantine’s free food stall and how its linking with businesses and gleaners, and shifting from stigma around collecting surplus food to a culture of sharing in their rural Cornish village.
- And Nicola from Footprints Women’s Centre in one of Belfast’s most under-served estates, where they run an organic garden, orchard, cookery, a social supermarket and a reuse, repair and sharing space.
Transition Skillshares are informal spaces to explore and share skills and experience on a particular theme. Look out for our monthly sessions (as voted for by Transitioners on Vive!) during autumn 2023. Catch up with previous sessions on our Youtube channel at [https://www.youtube.com/transitiontowns](https://www.youtube.com/transitiontowns).
There is no need to book to attend this workshop - but if you indicate you are attending here, we’ll be able to remind you closer to the time that it’s on!
